I wear many hats in regards to birth work. First and foremost I am a labor doula. My passion lies in helping a woman remember and tap into her inherent ability to birth her child. I also work with families after the birth of their baby as a postpartum doula. I have raised two children and intimately know what a new mama needs. I have been trained through various organizations as a breastfeeding counselor which only compliments my doula work. Another service that works into my doula work is encapsulating placentas. Consuming placenta pills postpartum has been shown to replenish iron and other minerals and vitamins in a postpartum mama, prevent postpartum depression and build a strong milk supply. Last, but certainly not least, I teach natural childbirth classes. As I said above, the ability to birth our children naturally is within every woman, we just need to be reminded of our history, our legacy. Sister Morningstar says “What one woman can do all women can do” and I SO believe this to be true.

I am happy to serve families from as far north as Longview Washington and as far south as Woodburn Oregon, as far west as Forest Grove and as far east as Troutdale.
